Knack Tutors
- Students can earn an hourly rate of $16/hour
- Students can tutor any courses in which they’ve earned a B+ or higher
- Students maintain control over their own working hours

Quality Tutoring
are required to be filled out for all tutoring sessions. If there is a concern about low ratings or feedback, our Student Success team is available to assist. That team periodically monitors sessions and, if flagged in the system, take proactive steps to discover what occurred, offer additional training and support, and bring that awareness to the campus partner for further discussion.
Knack Tutor Training
Before tutoring any students, new tutors must complete a comprehensive, two hour , which was developed in accordance with CRLA’s International Tutor Training Program Certification. This training for tutors covers various topics, including the role of a tutor, effective tutoring techniques, student expectations, and best practices. It emphasizes the importance of respecting individual differences, creating a positive learning environment, and providing personalized support to students. Tutors are paid for training time up to two hours.
